After the War

I remember the last bomb and the explosion of humans
Figures once alive identification now comes from their hands
A bloody little child crying on the ground her family lay dying
What was it about... inside I hear a silent voice shout... what was it about?
I remember the last bomb and the explosion of human reactions
From a far away land humans killing humans to control the land
Tears rolled down my cheeks as I count the dead lying in the street

Of a family of nine, three generations living in the same time
A lonely figure survived an old woman looking up to the sky & crying why
Now all alone in the World her gift to humanity have all died due to extended vanity
Her family of loving people, in their society they always shared with other families
I remember the last bomb and the explosion of humans
The siren was silent at last, I saw it went up in a blast
It was telling people to seek shelter before the last

From the blast the building crumbled destroying the ancient arts
Cultures eroded in order to sustain the wealthy class
Nothing new I keep telling you but you always forget
New World Order same effects, the poor are the ones who blood pure as sweat
Across the field where crops once yield over there have become uranium field
Burnt, scattered, mangled limbs of the cows that once gave milk
Now the living wait for foreign aid to get a drink

After the war the victors drive in fancy cars
Some carrying slogans saying we are brothers under the stars
Of the victims from human evil threats the wealthy use money to forget
Increase of jails, life without bail and immigration to curtail
This system has me grasping for air it's a living fear
I remember the last bomb and the explosion of human reactions
Someone gave me some novocain for the pain was no longer in my veins

It was then I realized... I was no longer in the game
I was a body without a name a victim of a system gone insane
