Updated! Steve Jobs Apple Discriminations To:
Steve Jobs Good-day, I wish to share a very distressing moment of concern with you. As a life member of Apple products I feel this information is of a vital interest for your consumer report. The experience I have encountered had left a permanent scar of discontent towards Apple merchants here in holland. In days to come I will let it be known through my creative network of friends, family, and associations of fellow artists of my person not to spend their money in Apple merchandising stores while visiting holland. The extent and prejudice of slavery is alive and striving in holland's apple stores. I am a witness to this continuity of hate and malice towards individuals of black skin complexion. On the sixteen of April 2004, my wife, a senior designer for Philips cooperation, my daughter who is only two years of age and myself entered one of your Apple merchant stores called "youmac" here in eindhoven, the netherlands. Immediately upon our admiration of the newest apple products, an individual approached me. He was not wearing any company insignia or clothing as the rest of the employees in the store. He told me but not my wife to leave my baby's backpack behind the counter. Looking at the counter I noticed two other employees standing behind their cashier desk. I also noticed that there was no accommodation for storage of customers' bags or personal belongings. So I refused. I told the individual in front of me no I would not leave my baby's bag behind the counter. Even after my wife confronted him about he not telling her to leave her bag, suddenly, the individual in front of me told me, "I am the owner of this store and you must leave now." The stress level from his insult on racial profiling was casing a depression of my mood and my family. On reiterations of his negative action of prejudicial malice, I repeated the word "no" several times more after stating the content of my baby's bag. The owner told me that he was going to call the police on me. On my objection the owner took out a paper stating of how his store got robbed that morning. In a very upset and diplomatic manner I again adamantly refused to compile on his insult of discrimination due to the fact that I am black and my wife is Chinese. In the fact of his insult and rude mannerism of commerce, I told him not to disturb us, not to stress me while we were viewing the new Apple products. He uttered again to call the police. I told him my family and I would be right here when the police came because we did nothing wrong. After walking away swearing in dutch at me, he returned to express his statement of fear by closing & key-locked the front door. As my wife, daughter and myself strolled on, a few minutes later he opened and locked back the store door for a white couple ("lesser-black") that came to view the apple store products just like us. Upon our departure the owner opened the door for us to leave and I thanked him for revealing his racial prejudicial ignorance. Now I will not conduct any means of exchange with his or any other dutch Apple merchandising stores. I started using Apple computer in the mid nineteen-eighties. I created the School of Visual Arts, New York, 1996 Yearbook and CD-rom version using Apple computers. I bought my current Apple computer while I was living in Hong Kong, China. I was featured in one of Hong Kong's syndicate newspaper while visiting Apple convention there. The distaste of slavery is an ideal support by Apple. This is why for many artists like myself Apple is our first choice in creative solutions. As an American Citizen I know it's not Apple policies to make snap discrimination based on ones personal ethicist. This behaviour
is not one of tolerance in the modern age of global communications. I thank you for your time and please have a beautiful day. Sincerely, Below is the police report on "youmac" racial discrimination behaviour:
