Updated! Just what is art anyway - can we define it? What's art trying to say? What inspires you? Which techniques and mediums do you prefer? Tell us about it. "Just what is art anyway?" The first part of this query on Art seem to be a focal fix for many, too often their overused dialects are jargons in contradiction of themselves and the surrounding World of what Art is. Of an answer to the first and second part of this query on Art "Can we define it?" Yes… and in definition of Art, I would now pose that "Art is She & She is Art"… this is Art to me. Our planet is known for her beauty, like wise she is known as a Great Master piece with vibrant colors and shadows. Sometimes we the curators of her views would place the title of "Mother Earth in honor of her magnificence. Therefore, in further definition on Art…"The All" is Art and the all is just another side of the Cosmic She". In the art of biology the expression and evolution of us "the living Art" can be traced only through the mitochondrial from our mothers. In the Ancient order of knowledge the Zenith of creative expressions was through the symbol of the Ankh". This symbol of degrees 90, 180 and 360 are the foundation of the all. As too the foundation of our birth through our mothers these degrees represent the passage the eggs and womb of the cycle which create us. "What is art trying to say?" In the expression of Artifacts, Art is not trying to say anything… it's us humans the "living art" with paradoxical views of communication attempting to put meanings upon meanings on the interpretation of Art. "Which
techniques and mediums do you prefer?" The preferences of media
to my liking are writing and photography. The techniques of these mediums,
which have a greater appeal, are black & white printing and book making.
