What's
Your Problem?
"Need to reaffirm faith in fundamental human rights
for Justice"
Afghanistan
to Zimbabwe
My problem
is my basic human rights have been violated by The United Kingdom. San
Francisco USA June 26, 1945 the Charter of the United Nations Conference
on International Organization was signed at conclusion, later that year
October 24, 1945 the document came into force. To great esteem the Statute
of International Court of Justice became an integral part of Charter of
United Nations. Of the 51 Nations that took part the United Kingdom became
a permanent member.
The fight
for United of Nations while Nations at War was answer with the blood of
my blood. In 1944 my grandfather became British Citizen while serving
in the RAF as Gunner. He later became a POW in Germany, my grandfather
a descendant slave from former British Colony Jamaica. Please do not feel
sorry for him just yet for my problem just start. In 1949 still a British
Citizen he got marry at the Garrison Church Upper Camp. My grandmother
later had two girls. At the age of nine my mother and her older sister
lost their mother, my grandmother was dead.
My Grandfather
a British Citizen migrated to England where he re-marry several times
and had serveral more children.
While my mother and her sister struggle to coped with living without their
Mother or Father. Jamaica like then, as it is now is very hard place to
live, especially, without the guidance of parents. Without the guidance
of basic love for our children, often they will expreience great tramas.
Around three years after the death of her mother and the abondedment of
her father my mother gave birth to my brother about eighteen months later
I was born. My mother a British Citizen by birth, as well as an an abonded
child (by a British Citizen), before adulthood had two other children
my brother and I as well as more to come with diffrents mates.
To psychoanalysis
the curcumstance of our birth and the struggle of my mother, like wise
the many other minority women around the World, I would manifest in a
deep mood of depessions. Later in life after sharing the baton of suffering
and abuses in Jamaica I fleed to the USA. From a young age I choosed the
path of a scholar, thus arriving in America I had a plan which was to
pursue higher education. Little did I know there were limitations... its
called money. Through scholarships and grants I overcame the odds. I earded
my BFA in Photography as well as explored the gift of being an Art Educator.
From the bliss of "studyration" (a new word)
while in the pursue of education I have aquired numerous gifts. One such
gift learn about was the Universal Declaration of Human Rights adopted
and proclaimed by the United Nations of Countries on December 10 1948,
an historic act. In aspiration I am seeking help in aquiring a balnce
of justice by granting me my rights to live and work as another British
subjects of the Crown.
